第一次聽到Scarborough Fair，
是在新番GUNSLINGER GIRL -IL TEATRINO-中第08集
『克拉耶絲的一日』的結尾插曲，
而劇中的兩段對話使得聽完之後
內心充滿感傷的感受呀～･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･
當時克拉耶絲躺在病床上接受醫生的檢查診斷
閉著眼，淡淡的口氣說：
『醫生，聽過Scarborough Fair嗎？』
『位於海水與海岸之間，為我尋找一畝地，
之後用一對羊角耕耘，再用一粒乾胡椒籽播完種，
如此你便是我的愛人，這到底是什麼意思呢……』
而之後的另一段對話
『吉安先生，你想哭卻無法流淚的經歷嗎？』
『現在的我便是如此，內心滿溢的情感，卻完全哭不出來，但是卻在睡著的時候不自覺的流淚…』

這首歌曲旋律是英格蘭有名的古老民謠，
歌詞是一些很無法達到的要求，來考驗對方對自己的感情。
對於歌詞的由來內容，以及故事，有很多種說法，
這些資料在網路上很容易查到，有興趣的人可以看看
然而翻唱的版本相當的多
像是著名的莎拉布萊曼也曾翻唱過
但是受到劇情影響，我還是最喜歡劇中多田葵翻唱的版本。
